Please be patient while several high resolution pictures load! It will be worth the wait!  This lovely Tudor gown is made of a wonderful deep black dupioni silk. It is fully lined and accented with blue and rose Czech glass beads on a rich black, blue and rose trim. There is also a lovely silver lace trim at the skirt front and sleeves. The sleeves are a very snug fit, making it necessary to be very careful when pushing the hand through. I found it was easier to remove the hands on the bend wrist dolls. The underskirt is made of a soft medium blue taffeta and is fully lined, snapping at the back. The headpiece is called a French hood and is made of sturdy materials, covered with black silk and the blue taffeta used for the underskirt, with a long black chiffon veil at the back. It is trimmed in silver and the same blue and rose beads used for the gown. The jewelry is made of faux white pearls, silver accents, blue and rose Czech glass beads and a cross accenting the bottom. As with all of our items, great attention is paid to accurate historical look and details.
