Elizabethan Gown

This Elizabethan gown is made of soft black dupioni silk, and black and silver brocade. The overgown is made of the soft black dupioni silk, and is fully lined and snaps at the back.  The gown is accented at the sleeve and the skirt front with a royal looking black and silver brocade.  Along the front of the gown on the brocade are black Czech glass beads and silver metal beads.  The same black and silver brocade accents the upper sleeves.  The underskirt is made of the same Black and silver brocade, is fully lined and snaps at the back.  The headpiece is called an "attifet" and is made of the black dupioni silk, white organza and white lace.  It is accented with the same beads as the gown.  It also has a long white chiffon veil at the back.  The partlet is made of soft white embroidered cotton, accented at the neck with black Czech glass and silver metal beads.  The jewelry is made of faux pearls and the same beads as the gown, with a silver cross at the bottom of the waist belt.
