Early Tudor Gown

This early Tudor gown is is made of soft black dupioni silk.  It is fully lined and snaps at the back.  The gown is accented with silver trim and plum Czech glass beads.  The over partlet is made of the same soft black silk, and lined in ivory brocade. It is accented with silver embroidery and Czech glass and silver metal beads.  The partlet snaps under the arms and at the back.  The underskirt and large cuffs are made of deep plum taffeta with dark silver embroidery.  The skirt is fully lined and snaps at the back. The cuffs are accented with white cotton puffs, and black Czech glass beads.  The French hood is made of sturdy materials and covered in the same fabric used for the gown and underskirt and accented with silver trim and the same beads as the gown.  The jewelry is made of faux pearls and deep plum Czech glass beads.
