Early Elizabethan Gown
This lovely gown is made of black dupioni silk, and is accented
with antique gold trim and faux pearls. The gown is fully
lined and snaps at the back. The underskirt is made of
gold brocade, is fully lined and snaps at the back. The partlet
(blouse) is made of soft cotton, accented with faux pearls and
antique gold delica beads. It snaps at the front.
The neck ruff is made of cotton lace, and is all handsewn, each
fold, and accented with tiny faux pearls. The hat is
called at attifet. It is made of black silk, white organza
and white lace. It is accented with gold trim, tiny faux pearls,
and a long white chiffon veil. The jewelry is made of faux
pearls, Czech glass beads, and gold accents.
As with all of our items, great attention is paid to accurate
historical look and details.
