This wonderful French Revolution
gown is made of a rich deep chocolate brown taffeta with
deep brown velvet flocking. The gown is fully
lined and snaps at the back. The skirts are
doubled, with the over skirt being gathered and pulled
up into full draping. The skirts are accented with
tiny hand set pleats all around. The gown is
trimmed in a warm brown trim, and beaded with deep brown
and medium brown Czech glass beads. It is also
beaded with faux ivory pearls. The neckline is
accented with both the warm brown lace and ivory lace.
The underskirt is made of a soft ivory taffeta,
embroidered with brown, teal and rose flowers and vines.
It is fully lined and snaps at the back. The hat
is made of sturdy materials, covered in the same fabric
as the gown, and trimmed with ivory lace and the same
beads as the gown, and accented with white feathers.
The jewelry is made faux ivory pearls, matching beads,
and an antique gold accent.
